In addition to the 25th Tehran International Quran Exhibition, which is slated to kick off on Monday, Quranic exhibits will be held 180 other Iranian cities, an official said.
Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammad Reza Heshmati, the Culture and Islamic Guidance Ministry’s Quran and Etrat Deputy, said people across the country can visit the expos to learn about the latest Quranic works and achievements in Quranic fields.
As for international exhibition in Tehran, he said the Imam Khomeini (RA) Mosalla (prayer hall) will host the event from the 3rd to 22nd day of Ramadan (May 29- June 12).
Hojat-ol-Islam Heshmati said the reason why it will not last until the last day of the holy month is because the Mosalla will be the venue of Eid al-Fitr prayers and a few days of preparations are needed for making it ready to host worshippers on the day of Eid.
He said the exhibition will have different sections, most of which showcase Quranic achievements as well as books and products.
There will also be a Hijab and Ifaf Bazar offering Hijab products with a 30-percent discount, the official noted.
Honoring servants of the Quran and holding specialized forums on Quranic and Islamic issues will be among other programs of the international Quranic event, he stated.
People can visit the exhibition every day from 5 PM to midnight, Hojat-ol-Islam Heshmati went on to say.
“Quran, Ethics and Life” is the motto of the exhibition this year.
