Yemen Launches Missile, Drone Attacks on Southern, Eastern Saudi Arabia

Date:

Arab sources reported the activation of warning sirens in the Eastern Province as well as in the city of Najran in southern Saudi Arabia on Thursday morning.

Early this morning, Saudi Arabia’s Civil Defense announced that warning sirens had been activated in the Eastern Province and the city of Najran, located in the south of the country.

Concurrently, Arab sources on social media reported hearing explosions in the city of Najran, alongside a missile and drone attack launched from Yemen toward the Eastern Province.

According to these sources, the Ras Tanura refinery in eastern Saudi Arabia was targeted by Yemeni forces, with several powerful explosions reported at the facility.

The majority of Saudi Arabia’s oil and gas resources are located in the east of the country. In recent weeks, these sites have repeatedly been the target of missile and drone attacks by Yemeni forces.

Official Yemeni sources have not yet issued a statement regarding today’s strikes.
