Turkey’s Spy Agency, MİT, allegedly sent a letter to police authorities, warning that Kobane-retreating ISIS fighters might have infiltrated into Turkey.
According to Doğan News Agency (DHA), MİT sent the following letter: “It is being evaluated that militants with an expertise of bombing and suicide bombing might be plotting bombings in the consulates in Istanbul and embassies in Ankara of those countries who have taken part in the coalition in the military intervention to Syria.”
In September 2014, countries including the U.S., France, UK, Poland, Belgium warned their citizens traveling to Turkey on “Increased Security Awareness”.
