At least two people were wounded in Egypt’s capital Cairo after four homemade bombs were detonated on the metro during rush hour on Wednesday.
Two of the blasts happened at one central station and two others in the suburbs, Euronews reported.
The bombs were described by police as “very primitive” and with “limited power”.
Egyptian authorities have suspended all services on the metro.
The attacks came a month after the election of General Abdel Fattah Al-Sissi as president, after he banned his oppositions and imprisoned the former democratically elected President Mohamed Morsi.
