Saudi airstrikes cut off key road between Lahj, Taiz in Al-Maqatirah

Date:

Saudi warplanes carried out on Sunday a series of targeted airstrikes today, severing the primary highway connecting the provinces of Lahj and Taiz in the Karbah area of Al-Maqatirah District, according to a local source

The intense air raids directly targeted key infrastructure along the vital transport artery, bringing vehicle traffic to a complete standstill.

Local officials and eyewitnesses reported that the destruction of this section of the road has effectively isolated local communities, cutting off a critical logistical route used for the transit of civilian travel and essential commercial goods between the two southern and southwestern governorates.
