The Holy Quran House Department at the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine celebrated the graduation of five Quranic courses in Baghdad, with the participation of 214 female students. The initiative forms part of its educational programs aimed at promoting Quranic culture and expanding knowledge of the sciences of the Holy Quran and the teachings of the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them).

Hawzah News Agency- Dr. Murtada Jamal Al-Din, Scientific Assistant to the Head of the Institute, stated in an interview with the Shrine’s official website that the courses were organized through the Center for Quranic Research and Studies and conducted under the supervision of the Institute’s staff over a period of six consecutive months. He explained that the programs reflect the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine’s vision of strengthening Quranic knowledge and authentic intellectual values within society.

He noted that four courses were held in Sadr City and one in the Jamila district. Their themes included “Ali: The Scale of Justice,” focusing on the Speaking Quran (Imam Ali, peace be upon him), as well as “Verses of Imam Hussain,” “Dawn of Imam Hussain,” “Breezes of the Quran: Remembrances of Paradise,” and “Abundance of Imam Hussain.”

Al-Din added that the graduation ceremony highlighted the Quranic verses revealed in connection with the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them), their significance, and the importance of understanding their profound meanings. He encouraged the graduates to become ambassadors of Quranic knowledge by sharing what they had learned with different segments of society.

He also confirmed that the Institute plans to launch a new series of specialized Quranic courses in the near future. During the ceremony, certificates of appreciation were presented to the instructors in recognition of their efforts, while the participating students received their graduation certificates.

The Holy Quran House Department continues to organize educational and specialized courses and programs across several Iraqi provinces, seeking to promote Quranic culture, train qualified educators, and strengthen the presence of Quranic sciences and the teachings of the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them) throughout society.
