US lawmaker vows to force Hegseth impeachment vote
TEHRAN, Nov. 05 (MNA) – US Congressman Thomas Massie has confirmed he will force a vote on articles of impeachment against Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.
“There is one contingency in which I won’t reintroduce the articles of impeachment: Hegseth resigns,” Massie, a Republican and Trump critic, wrote on X.
CNN reported that Massie is expected to introduce the measure when Congress returns next week, with multiple Republican sources indicating the motion is expected to pass.
