Hawzah News Agency- In a message marking the National Day of Struggle Against Global Arrogance, the Leader described the occasion as a symbol of “the arraying of the front of truth against the front of falsehood” and stressed that the Iranian nation’s duty toward “criminal America” has become clearer than ever.

Recounting decades of open US hostility toward the Iranian people at various junctures, Ayatollah Khamenei said the days of Iran’s resistance and struggle against the “Great Satan” have become permanent and every day. He stressed that at every stage, the enemy has been confronted by the solid wall of ground reality and the firm rocks of the Iranian nation’s will.

The Leader identified the continued strategy of a “stronger Iran” along the path of all-round progress as the only way to reach the point of absolute deterrence, and once again emphasized the need for continued mutual support between the “nation” and “officials.”

In the Name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful

Today is the National Day of Struggle Against Global Arrogance — a day that brings together a series of turning points in the arraying of the front of truth against the front of falsehood, and the front of the oppressed against the front of the oppressor. It may be said that this year, on the 13th of Aban, the Iranian nation knows its duty toward criminal America more clearly and transparently than in any other year. However, reviewing the roots, reasons and turning points of America’s ever-increasing hostility and the Iranian nation’s firm stand against it is a lamp illuminating the future of this path.

The starting point of America’s oppression against the Iranian nation goes back more than seven decades — to when it staged the 1953 coup to continue plundering national resources and assets, especially oil. The following decades, up until the victory of the Islamic Revolution, were also a period in which American rulers made extensive efforts to loot the assets of the Iranian nation. In this path, by establishing SAVAK and imposing a heavy security atmosphere on society, they opened the hand of the tyrannical government of the time to suppress any protest movement. On the eve of the glorious victory of the Islamic Revolution, they used all kinds of tricks to preserve their puppet government. From their hostile behavior in the period after the great victory of the Iranian nation, one can present a long list of their anti-people measures, including support for separatist groups, coup plotters and the hypocrites who, in addition to scientific, political and social elites, ruthlessly martyred masses of ordinary people; direct and all-out support for the Baath Party in the first imposed war; the massacre of civilians aboard a passenger plane; extensive, long and heavy economic sanctions; planning and supporting numerous riots and seditions and even arming them; the assassination of General Soleimani, the national hero of Iran and the Islamic Ummah; the theft of the Iranian nation’s property and assets in various countries; and finally, direct military aggression in the second and third imposed wars and the martyrdom of a large number of elites, scientists, commanders and a huge number of the oppressed Iranian people — from infants and children to the elderly — and at the top of them all, the great Leader of the Islamic Revolution, may God sanctify his pure soul.

At all these stages, the arrogant American rulers and their followers have always sought to impose their dominance and subjugate Iran. Even in the latest versions of this bullying, they have set aside all the false and deceptive international formalities and shamelessly seek the disintegration of the country, the kneeling of the nation, the collapse of the system and the destruction of Iran’s ancient and original civilization. And of course, at every stage, they have been confronted by the solid wall of ground reality and the firm rocks of the Iranian nation’s will, and have placed the result of their miscalculations and arrogant delusions in the basket of heavy costs borne by the American people and the puppet governments of the US administration.

Now, the story of America’s long-standing enmity toward the Muslim Iranian nation, and the valiant resistance of all Iranians against this enemy, has reached a point where not only the 13th of Aban but all days and hours have become days of resistance and struggle against the Great Satan. Now, the scene of the Persian Gulf, especially the Strait of Hormuz, while proving the falsity of the myth of America’s invincibility, demonstrates the weakness and humiliation of governments that rely on any force other than their own nation, and the disloyalty and impotence of great powers in defending their puppet governments. Iran’s management of the Strait of Hormuz and the destruction of American military bases in regional countries, although a reaction to America’s aggression and crimes in the third imposed war, is at the same time considered a preliminary jihad against arrogance on a regional scale, which, in the event of repeated transgressions, will take on far broader dimensions. This sign of authority, alongside the unity of the fronts of truth and the intelligent and powerful epic-making of the resistance front from Palestine and Lebanon to Iraq and Yemen, is a clear and hope-inspiring dawn of the raising of the banner of the front of truth and the groundwork for a new world order — for whenever the front of truth has trust, steadfastness and sacrifice, the front of falsehood, with whatever power and capability and whoever and whatever it may be, will not be able to withstand it, and retreat and defeat are its definite end: “Indeed, falsehood is ever bound to vanish.”

Praise be to God, the Iranian nation has well learned great lessons from the teachings of pure Muhammadan Islam and the knowledge of the Islamic Revolution and the school of its wise leaders, the Great Imam Khomeini and the martyred Imam Khamenei — may God elevate their noble stations — and day by day, with the fulfillment of divine promises, its faith in the righteousness of this path has deepened. Today, as a result of the self-made scandal of the arrogant, America’s power and dominance are in an irreversible decline in both hard military power and soft international power, and the process of its collapse has accelerated.

If there are still those who hold even a faint hope for a change in behavior or partisan and factional shifts within the system of domination, or who imagine that by giving concessions to America, they can dissuade it from enmity toward the Iranian nation, they are sorely mistaken. This false notion is ingratitude toward the great conquests the Muslim Iranian nation has achieved under the shadow of trust, steadfastness and struggle. The Great Satan’s wish is the unconditional surrender of the Iranian nation, and the slightest inclination toward submission to the domineering enemy will squander the great capital achieved through the blood of martyrs and the sacrifices of individuals of the nation, and will make the arrogant enemy more daring for further excesses and subsequent wars and aggressions.

The only way to reach the point of absolute deterrence is the continuation of the strategy of a “stronger Iran” along the path of all-round progress; and integrity, unity and social cohesion are the main elements of success in this path, which must govern every individual and social word and deed of the nation and officials. In this regard, just as the nation’s support for officials is necessary, the continuation and enhancement of officials’ attention to doubled and jihadi service, sincerity toward the people, and securing their livelihood, comfort, material and spiritual growth, and preserving their dignity and independence are also important.

The vanguard segment for building the bright and glorious future of dear Iran are our youth, university students and school students, who must continuously seek to conquer and destroy the dark den of “despair, hopelessness and cannots” and to conquer the bright house of “hope and we can.” The requirement of this mission is extraordinary fitness and being equipped with all kinds of weapons of knowledge, piety, skill, ethics, will and extraordinary effort, and “covenant-keeping” to reach lofty goals.

It is hoped that by God’s grace and the prayers of our master, may God hasten his reappearance, the Iranian nation will experience victory, felicity and all-round progress as soon as possible, and the grounds for the ever-greater and faster decline of the Great Satan’s dominance will be provided. “Indeed, they see it as far off, but We see it as near.”
