Abdulaziz al-Dailami, director of the Sehatuna Al-Takamuli Hospital in Sanaa, announced the casualty figures on Saturday, saying the medical facility had received the bodies of 22 victims, most of them women and children.
Speaking to Yemen’s Al-Masirah television network, al-Dailami said 30 others had been wounded in the airstrikes targeting the village of al-Shariyah in Bani Hashish district.
According to the report, Saudi fighter jets struck around six residential homes in the village, causing extensive casualties among civilians.
Meanwhile, an Al-Masirah correspondent in Sanaa reported that Saudi warplanes continued flying over the area, preventing emergency responders from accessing the bombing sites.
The report also indicated that rescue workers had come under attack, further obstructing efforts to recover victims and provide assistance to the wounded.
Amid the mounting humanitarian emergency, al-Dailami urged ambulances to rush to the hospital to help transport and treat the injured, while calling on residents to donate blood.
Meanwhile, Yemen’s Health Ministry has reported a rising death toll from Saudi attacks across the country.
According to Yemen’s Ministry of Health and Environment, Saudi attacks have killed or wounded 981 people since the latest escalation began through November 6, 2026.
In a statement published by Yemen’s official Saba news agency, the ministry said 306 civilians had been killed and another 675 wounded.
The ministry further reported that Saudi attacks over the past 24 hours alone had killed 30 people, including three children, and wounded 21 others, among them one child.
