SANAA, Nov. 01 (YPA) – Sanaa’s head of the Prisoners’ Committee, Abdulqader Al-Murtada, declared on Sunday that a large number of fighters had been captured on the Al-Maqatirah front in Lahj province.
In a post on X, Al-Murtada said: “Unfortunately, they did not take advantage of the presidential amnesty decision. Instead, they believed the Saudi promises and insisted on fighting, only to end up in captivity.”
“We had hoped they would take the initiative to lay down their arms and surrender so they could return safely to their areas and families,” he added.
