ADEN, Nov. 01 (YPA) – A horrific incident involving members of the Saudi-backed Islah Party’s 22nd Mechanized Brigade in Taiz has sparked widespread public outrage across Yemen.

Activists circulated disturbing footage on social media on Saturday, reportedly showing brigade members throwing a woman from the window of her sixth-floor apartment onto the street.

According to reports circulated by activists, the woman was thrown from her apartment overlooking a strategic area near Taiz after refusing to allow her home to be turned into a base for Islah-affiliated snipers targeting Sanaa forces.

The incident prompted widespread condemnation and anger among local residents, who denounced what they described as criminal and barbaric practices against innocent civilians.

Activists in Taiz called for a broad popular uprising to drive Saudi-backed Islah fighters out of the city, which has become a large prison where people’s homes and property are violated and looted.
